Description

INTENDED FOR:

Certifying Staff, holders of the appropriate Part-66 B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance License, and technicians.

PREREQUISITES:

The student should at least have a technical background, good knowledge of general English language and of the technical English terms used in aviation.

EXAMINATIONS:

For the examination, a minimum score of 75% of each examination session is required in order to receive a Certificate of Recognition for the theoretical element of the aircraft type training mentioned herein. Examination will be written, multi-choice type, with three alternative answers of which only one shall be the correct answer.

DELIVERY:

The classroom will contain a suitable projector to enable delivery of the notes electronically. A whiteboard or equivalent will be provided to permit instructor detailing of course content. Relevant videos, virtual cockpits and system animations will be delivered via the projector system to encourage student understanding. Suitable audio facilities will be provided to aid delivery of these formats. Large format cockpit display charts will be provided for ease of description and to assist with layout familiarity.

ATTENDANCE:

All students must achieve a minimum 90% attendance rate across the full duration of the course in order for a Certificate of Recognition to be issued.

TRAINING DURATION PER DAY

The standard training day is based upon 6 hours of instruction per day, excluding examinations and break times. Whilst taking into account pedagogical and human factors principles, there may be rare occasions where 6 hours may be exceeded due to operational or unforeseen circumstances. In these instances, Croatian CAA will be notified.
