Online Training Information

This course is delivered to you as Synchronised Distance Learning or more commonly referred to as Virtual Training. Prior to the scheduled course start, you will be provided with an invitation to our Audio- and Video Conferencing tool. The theoretical training session will be instructor led and delivered to you in real-time. Each participant will be required to have his or her own personal device. Acceptable devices are laptops and tablets with audio and video (camera) capability. It is recommended to use a headset as this enhances the audio quality when talking to your instructor or fellow colleagues on the course.

Management or other support personnel.

Content:

This course covers Airframe, Engine and Electrical systems in detail to ATA specification 104 Level 3 and Avionics Systems Level 3 (i.a.w. Part 66 Appendix 3).

Prerequisites:

General knowledge of turbine powered transport aircraft.

Objectives:

Upon completion of Level 1 training, the participant will be able to

• provide a simple description of the whole subject, using common words and examples, using typical terms and identify relevant safety precaution;
• identify aircraft manuals, maintenance practices;
• define the general layout of the aircraft's major systems and characteristics of the powerplant;
• identify special tooling and test equipment.
